Meet the Founders

We met our co-founders during grad school and built an everlasting friendship hanging out at the local food trucks, throwing house parties, hiking and camping or biking across mountains and lastly working together on projects beyond Lune. We genuinely enjoy hanging out with each other. It's been years of hustling and a whole lot of good times!

Our commitment to this vision is personal, stemming from both passion and a genuine desire to elevate the musical experience for all. We have years of experience in building products, hiring and leading teams, developing software, crafting immersive stories in XR/VR, and deploying wireless network systems for brands like Google, Unity, Meta, MLB, Mist Systems, Juniper Networks, and more. But our skill set stretches beyond just tech. Our hands-on involvement is diverse, encompassing fields like interior design, manufacturing of furniture & home products, sales, operations, and people management.

Shrey Malhotra (Founder & CEO), a powerhouse in design, engineering, and innovation, has a history of leadership roles at Unity and Nexus Studios. With his diverse background and leadership experience, he is instrumental in driving Lune's vision.

Nagarjun Srinivasan (Founder & COO), known for his inventive approach and technical leadership, has made a significant impact in the realm of indoor location services, marked by several successful acquisitions (Mist & Juniper Networks)

Kelly Beckton (Co-Founder), a successful business owner, has over 13 years of experience in K+B industry and is a mother to 3 beautiful kids. Her extensive design and manufacturing skills make her an invaluable partner in reimagining the future of music and human creativity. 

Sari Smith (Co-Founder), aka the Fun Squad, has over 18 years of leadership and management expertise in strategy and operations. Sari leads strategic planning, manages projects, and supports the realization of overall priorities at Lune. She brings out the fun and joy in Lune!
